Somewhat notoriously, he has established himself as a professional gadfly, bête noir, advocate, social critic, and pork enthusiast, recognized for his caustic sense of humor worldwide. He is as unsparing of those things he hates, as he is evangelical about his passions.

Born in New York City, Anthony Bourdain developed a love for food from an early age. While attending college he worked at various local seafood restaurants in Massachusetts and that’s when he decided to purse a career in the culinary arts. He graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1978 and went on to run several restaurants in New York City.
His current tour includes new and uncensored material and stories about his life’s work and travels including an open question and answer session with the audience; as well as special guests.
